2024 Jim Briggs Memorial Fall Colours Run to Kananaskis Country

Our annual "Jim Briggs Memorial Fall Colours Run" 

We will  be heading through Kananaskis Country on HW 40 with a stop at the "Iron Goat Bar and Grill" in Canmore for lunch.

The cost for lunch is $32.50 per person payable when you register for the event. Please limit your registration to one additional guest.

22X West to 22 South

22 South past Millarville and Diamond Valley to Longview

541 West to Highway 40 to Kananaskis

Highway 1 West to 1X

1X North to Highway 1A

Highway 1A West,

Turn right on Elk Run Blvd

Parking (small map on .pdf map)

Take the 1st turn at the traffic circle onto Benchlands Trail, then take the 1st right into the Cougar Creek Parking Lot (yellow route, ~30 spots)

OR

Take the 2nd turn at the traffic circle, then turn right into the Iron Goat Parking Lot (red route, ~20 spots)

Note: There may be additional parking available further up Benchlands Tr as needed.
