This advert is on behalf of Joe Carson, who is a friend of an esteemed former member.
Joe has a yellow 1971 Karman Ghia in dry storage on an acreage just north-west of Calgary. From what I understand, Joe had intended to perform a complete restoration, and in 2021 and 2022 spent $10k at German Auto Specialists getting it running. The photos are from when Joe bought the car (date unknown to me) and from May 2025 in the storage SeaCan. Joe is looking for $13,000. He can be reached at jcars "at" telus.net
Here are some additional comments from Joe:
In addition to the repairs it has a new original OEM steering wheel, new odometer fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge. The original odometer is in the car and had about 42,000 miles on it. The original clock is in the car. It has a new replica radio based on the OEM. Convertible roof is in very good condition.
Main effort would be body work namely floor panels and rocker panels. The rest of the body work is in relatively good condition.
As you know it drives and stops!!
