Grand Seton Village Father's day Car Show

In support of the Alzheimer's Society

When: Sunday, June 21, 2026 - 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Where: Grand Seton Village - 4485 Front St SE – Calgary, AB

Join us for a special Father’s Day Car Show in support of the Alzheimer’s community!

Registration Fee: $10 at the gate (includes lunch!)

All proceeds go directly to support the Alzheimer’s group, helping provide care, resources, and research for those affected.

Space is limited, please register so we know you are coming.

O.C. 165/2021 - June 9, 2021

WHEREAS automotive enthusiasts are celebrating the month of July as Automotive Heritage Month across Canada; and

WHEREAS Alberta’s rich automotive heritage has broad appeal to classic car hobbyists and the public, which is demonstrated through car shows, cruise nights and afternoon drives; and

WHEREAS automobile clubs enrich Alberta's communities by serving as active participants in local festivals, parades and celebrations; and

WHEREAS the collector car community contributes to Alberta’s economic and social well-being by hosting events and car shows that raise funds for local charities and engage Alberta’s communities; and

WHEREAS the Government of Alberta wish to celebrate the passion of Albertans for driving, restoring, preserving and collecting an important part of Canada’s history; and

WHEREAS the Proclamation of Collector Car Appreciation Day will give Albertans the opportunity to recognize the vibrant car collection community in Alberta;

THEREFORE the Lieutenant Governor in Council orders that a Proclamation issue proclaiming the second Friday in July of each year as Collector Car Appreciation Day in Alberta.

2026 VSCCC Annual General Meeting

When: 11 Nov 2026 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (MST)

The Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary (VSCCC) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday November 11, 2026.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the previous year and the Club's Financial Reports, hold elections for Executive Board member positions for the upcoming year, vote on proposed By-Law amendments and advise the Board on the direction they would like to see the club take for the upcoming year.

Any members looking to get more involved are encouraged to put their names forward.

We encourage members and spouses to attend. It is important to voice your opinion, cast your vote, get reacquainted with your fellow car enthusiasts and participate in how you would like the club to operate; and how we can make the club more engaging for you, your spouse and family.

Please ensure that your membership is current before the meeting, as that is required in order to cast your vote.

Members who wish to have supper or drinks before the AGM will meet around 6 pm.

Following the meetings we will have general socialization and slideshows.
